Israel restricts the employment of Ukrainians in certain cities of the state

Israeli Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked announced that Ukrainian refugees will be restricted from employment in 17 Israeli cities. However, the ban will not apply to workers in construction, agriculture, nursing, and hospitality.
Among the cities where Ukrainians will be banned from working are Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Petah Tikva, Eilat, Ashdod, and Netanya. Recall that in June, the Authority of Population and Immigration allowed Ukrainians who arrived in Israel before the beginning of the war to get a job in the country. About 13,000 Ukrainian refugees are expected to be affected by this restriction on employment rights in the cities.
